Michelle Maloney, Au.D.
Michelle Maloney, Au.D., grew up traveling with her family while her dad served as a judge in the U.S. Army. She has lived in six states, attended ten schools, and was even fortunate enough to live overseas in South Korea. She attributes her adaptability, open-mindedness and ability to “never meet a stranger” to this amazing, adventurous childhood.
Dr. Maloney earned her undergraduate degree with Honors in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Florida. She has been published in the Journal of Educational Audiology, taught over 200 presentations to her peers, and been a speaker at several national audiology conventions. She is licensed in the state of Georgia, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and holds certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Maloney has worked in a variety of settings including: private practice ENT, hearing aid and cochlear implant manufacturers, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Through her vast experience, she is skilled in the diagnosis and management of hearing loss and balance disorders in both children and adults. She joined Dr. Matthew Gill at Suwanee Ear, Nose and Throat in November 2016 to develop the Audiology portion of the practice. This will enable us to provide exceptional multi-disciplinary care to patients with hearing and balance disorders.
Dr. Maloney lives in Gwinnett County with her husband and three children. When not on the ball fields or tennis courts cheering on her kids, she enjoys Pilates, tennis, and being outdoors.
